SECTION I - GENERAL
As a member of the Jefferson County Junior Baseball League, the Association shall follow the current regulations and rules of play of the League.
SECTION II - PLAYER
A. ELIGIBILITY
1. To be eligible to play with Association teams, a player must:
a. T-Ball players must be at least seven (7) years of age by July 31 but not older than eight (8) years.
b. Other players must be at least nine (9) years of age by July 31.
c. Reside within the Association’s boundaries as defined by the Bylaws, or attend school within the boundaries of Lakewood High School, or whose parent or guardian coaches an Association team, if that player played the previous season on a team Jefferson County Junior Baseball, or have played the previous season on an Association team, or have written permission from his or her community association, or be otherwise eligible to play for our Association according to the regulations and rules of play of the Jefferson County Junior Baseball League.

d. Be enrolled on an Association team and listed on its roster, signifying that the player has presented the Association with a photostatic copy of his or her birth certificate or other positive proof of birth.
e. Have paid all fees and dues required by the Association within two (2) weeks of the due date, including but not limited to, registration fees and fund raising money. A majority vote of the Board may waive this provision, if good cause exists. Since the goal of the Association is to allow all children to play baseball, any interested person is urged to present such a case to the Board.
